First, there was the Chia Obama, next comes Presidential Giggle Water.
Jack Daniel’s, prominent Maker of Tennessee Mash, has apparently decided to get in on the Obamabilia craze.
There’s a thin line between normal and insane. I think I’m standing on it… which would explain the big blob of crazy on my shoe.

Ms. Diva came home proudly wearing her “I voted today” sticker.
Her primary school held a mock election. She cast her vote for Obama – because, she says: “He’s brown and I’m brown.”
She was less than pleased when McCain won.
Of course, I can’t say I’m surprised.
Two weeks ago, Mr. Smartypants’ 9-year-old friend informed [...]

The Times-News reports that Rep. Nathan Vaughn is taking 2nd House District GOP challenger Tony Shipley to task for distributing a newspaper-style campaign piece Shipley calls the “Kingsport Community News.”
Shipley acknowledged the publication is paid for by his campaign.
“We put all kinds of things in it,” Shipley, of Colonial Heights, said of the publication. “I [...]
Am I the only person who thinks that spending 3 million dollars to ready the Belmont campus for a Presidential Debate is crazy? I understand wanting the bathrooms to be clean and the need to create a place to park the media… but 3 million dollars?

While we’ve examined this gesture in general, I think we must now ask: does it mean something different when white Southern Republicans [...]

lo and behold, it came to pass… the Obama Campaign considers bringing their presumptive nominee to Tennessee, unto the city of Al Gore, which is called Nashville for a fund raiser…
Oh, don’t get excited. Only those anointed with holy hopechange oil and wearing $600 earrings will be permitted to attend.

Yesterday, we went to Dollywood with the Professor’s family, and it turned out to be the longest day in history. There had to be an additional 15 minutes tacked on to each hour – at least. I’m a bit surprised scientists aren’t scratching their heads over this unprecedented distortion of time. Perhaps [...]

The state of Tennessee makes not-so-great national headlines – and for once, Bill Hobbs has nothing to do with it.
According to Fox News, 70-year-old retired UTK professor has been charged with plotting to defraud the U.S. Air Force and illegally disclose restricted data about military drones to foreign nationals, including persons in China.
A federal grand [...]

How to address problems associated with weather patterns and climate change? Hmmm. Well, we could do this or we could b*tch-slap Al Gore a few times.
I’m cool with either one.
