Mike Faulk, who lives in the City of Kingsport (a portion of which Hawkins County reluctantly claims) frequently mentions that he hangs his lawyering-hat in Church Hill and once served as their city attorney.

The Church Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted to ban fund-raising roadblocks in the city – after a minor accident scared the dickens out of a Volunteer High student, a driver…. and probably the city attorney.

The Rogersville Review reports: a single vehicle accident involving a juvenile has resulted in damage to a Church Hill motel.
Uncle Roy’s version of the story: “Gawd almighty, some dumbass done drove through the damned Econolodge” (w/ proper southern pronunciation: oh-con-no-mo-lodge.)
