I agree with other comments I've read that indicate he thought once he was in office, he had nothing to worry about. The people of Northeast Tennessee, who historically don't oust a Republican congressman, have finally stood up for their rights. And now Davis has the "How dare you vote against me?" attitude. This is America. We're not perfect, but our election system does let us fix mistakes. Mr. Davis was a mistake, and now that mistake has been fixed. Unfortunately, we will all pay for his lifetime pension and healthcare benefits, but at least we won't have to see or hear from him. Maybe he can go live at a compound in Texas with Dubya, and they can take turns dodging bullets from Dickie. Davis is a cry-baby.
