Bristol Herald Courier’s J. Todd Foster has advice for Times-News reporter Hank Hayes:join the [US Rep. David] Davis payroll officially.
As many of you know, I’ve also wondered about Hayes’ tendency to lean right. In giving him the benefit of the doubt, however, I must consider the illusion of slant might be simply due to the fact that most elected officials and people in this area are Republican. So, perhaps it only seems as though Republicans are getting favorable press coverage. It is also possible no one told Hank there’s a third (Democratic) candidate for Congress… since the only person I can recall mentioning Russell would be entertainment reporter David Cate.
