UPDATE: Meg was not able to make the walk, but I would like to thank Lil Sis, Brother Bryan and his Uncle Groovey friends, Robert West and his lovely lady Trish, Bonnie Burton, Miranda Jones, Sam Copeland and Mamma who all walked for the cause, Elise, the fellows at TRW (who gave at the office) and Jaime Jones – and I guess Daddy who ate massive quantities of Clay and Nila Fugate’s catfish and waved as we passed offering his moral support.
Also: a big thank you to Cris Ball and John Skelton of the Ball Sisters Band, who signed Meg’s shirt and Robbie Price (from U-Save) and his girls who not only signed the shirt and loaned me a CF card so I could take pics for Meg. And the party bounce fellows: you fellows are fabulous. Mike Reeves of WRGS who was, as always, awesome – even if he did need a little help MCing the event from Ms. Vicki’s granddaughter Lyndsey.
