Cherokee Raceway reminds all drivers the first points race is set for April 5, 2008. Likewise Volunteer Speedway hosts its first weekly points-awarding night of racing in 2008 on Saturday, April 5. Check the sites for more info.
Also, Don Fenley has a bit of news about the East Tennessee Lawn Mower Racing Association season kick-off.
According to WRGS, on April 5, a tractor Pull Sponsored by: ET Antique Tractor Assoc. and one of the Baptist Churches will be held at Cherokee High School. Weigh in begins at 3:00pm. Pull begins at 4:00pm.
The Hawkins County TWRA Contraband sale will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the front door of the County Courthouse. (For list of contraband items to be sold and dates/times for other areas, check Region 4.)
