ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County truck driver will be in court later this week after police say he accidentally killed his wife with a tractor-trailer.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, Darryl Colyer, 27, struck Andrea Ricker Colyer, 25, with his truck while driving through a parking lot on Friday night.
Police say Colyer and his wife had been drinking before she was run over accidentally. She died at an area hospital.
Colyer faces vehicular homicide charges, and is free on $10,000 bond.
